Ive been using Mealime for a bit and I like it mostly because theres a good mix of recipes. I dont feel like Im cooking the exact same stuff every week, and a lot of the meals are easy enough to make on a weeknight when I dont have much energy.

The only reason Id give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that some recipes start to feel kind of similar after a while. Its still really useful though, and I keep coming back to it.

I was trying to use this for my grocery shopping, but the weird part is my list keeps disappearing out of nowhere. I’ll add a few things, come back later, and it’s just gone. Frustrating when you’re relying on it at the store

From what I remember using it, I still spent a lot of time figuring out meals and then actually cooking everything. I was hoping it would make the whole process quicker, but looking back, it didn’t really feel worth it for me.

I tried Mealime because I thought it would make meal planning less of a headache, but it kind of made things more confusing. Some of the recipes didn’t really match what I had at home or what I actually wanted to eat, and swapping stuff around wasn’t as easy as I expected. I also found the communication in the app a little unclear at times, like I wasn’t always sure what changes were being made or what I still needed to buy. I ended up putting together my own grocery list half the time anyway. Maybe it works better for other people, but for me it mostly felt like one more app to deal with.

I wasn’t totally sure about paying for it at first, but after trying it, I’m relieved I did. It’s been helping me save money, which makes the plan feel worth it. I just wish there were a few more recipes included

I really wanted to like Mealime because the idea is great, but using the app felt more awkward than I expected. It wasn’t terrible, just kind of clunky in a way that made meal planning feel like extra work.

Finding recipes was simple, but once I tried changing servings, swapping meals, or cleaning up the grocery list, it took way more tapping around than I thought it should. A few times I felt like I was stuck in some random support queue, like a ticket number instead of a person just trying to edit dinner.

The meal ideas themselves were fine, and I can see how it might work for some people. But for me, the usability got annoying fast, so after a few tries I just stopped opening it.

I found myself adding extra seasoning or tweaking things often, which sort of defeated the purpose for me. Maybe it works better if you already like adjusting recipes as you go, but for what I needed, it just wasn’t really worth it

I really wanted this to make weeknight dinners easier, but it just didn’t hit the mark for us. A lot of the meals felt geared more toward adults, and my picky kids refused most of the options. For something that’s supposed to help busy families, I expected better variety and more kid-friendly choices. I’d love to see the company take that feedback seriously instead of marketing it like a simple family dinner solution when it wasn’t one for us.

mealime has actually been helpful for me during the week... especially when I’m trying to eat something healthier instead of just grabbing whatever. The recipes are simple, and the shopping list makes things way less annoying. A few meals start to feel a bit similar after a while, but overall it’s made cooking decent food at home a lot easier for me.
